Derby Concert Orchestra
I was Principal Conductor of the highly acclaimed Derby Concert Orchestra from1987- 2024. During my time with the DCO we developed the orchestra to be flexible and embrace a wide range of music from Mozart through to the symphonies of Mahler, Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring and to music of the present day.
Other Professional orchestral work
Includes engagements with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic 'Ensemble Ten Ten', Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Choir, London Soloists Chamber Orchestra, and The London Schubert Players.
Benslow Music Trust
I have regularly conducted for courses at the Benslow Music Trust in Hitchin. See page for details of courses. Since 2004 I conducted the Chamber Orchestra at CSSM (formerly the Charterhouse Summer School of Music School and then met at Sherborne School in Dorset at the end of July) This summer school has now ended.
